Welcome to Gerrards Farm in West Dorset
A warm welcome awaits you at Gerrards Farm, Chris and Caroline's family home for the past 20 years. The farm has been farmed for 3 generations, previously as a dairy farm and now with a small herd of Red Ruby cattle.
The 19th century traditional farmhouse is situated 300 ft above sea level in tranquil and picturesque surroundings and enjoys panoramic views across Marshwood Vale, stretching south towards the sea at Charmouth on the Jurassic coast and north to Pilsdon Hill, one of the highest hills in Dorset.
Gerrards Farm is also home to Chris and Caroline's pets, Jess, the cat, Kizzy, the black labrador, Ava, the spaniel and Anna, the Irish Draught horse. Stables are available should you wish to bring your own horse with livery available by arrangement.
Our rooms are furnished with your comfort and relaxation in mind with quality beds, freshly laundered bedding and a high standard of housekeeping. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each room with fresh milk always available.
We also have a comfortably furnished lounge with plenty of room to relax in front of the log burner with newspaper, TV and tea and coffee facilities. We have a number of local guides and free wifi (also accessible in the rooms).
You are welcome to sit in our large garden with garden furniture and enjoy the amazing 360 degree views.
For the comfort of our guests we are smoke free and we do not accept pets.
